MetroPM has been appointed by a Birmingham-based family property firm to collect and manage the leases of 1,500 ground rent units.

MetroPM, which has offices in Birmingham and Cheltenham, has worked with MIA Property Group to facilitate a smooth handover.

Ian Smallman, director of MetroPM, said: “I have worked with MIA for many years and we are very pleased to have been instructed to collect the group’s ground rent portfolio.

“The contract also includes providing consents, lease extensions and dealing with leaseholders who wish to acquire their freehold.

“We have undertaken a lot of work prior to integrating the estate, working closely with MIA Property Group over the last few months.”
