Property management company MetroPM has won another prestigious contract in Birmingham.
The firm, which has offices in Birmingham and Cheltenham, has been appointed to manage Altitude Apartments, a mixed use scheme in the Jewellery Quarter.
Altitude Apartments, on Powell Street, was built in 2006, comprises both commercial offices and residential apartments – in total 32 units. The development has secure upper and lower basement parking.
MetroPM director Ian Smallman said: “We were very pleased to be approached by the client to take over the management of Altitude. The client was seeking an agent who would look after the scheme and be responsive and communicate with the leaseholders, ensuring the building is well maintained at all times.”
Margaret Cattell, a director at the Altitude Property Management Company, which appointed MetroPM, said: “We have experienced various issues and wanted a professional and proactive firm who would look after our interests and ensure the property is well managed, be responsive and address maintenance issues quickly.
Mr Smallman had previously worked with the client and had built a trusted relationship.
MetroPM has already arranged for a deep clean of the communal areas and car park, tracking contractors’ progress at all times.
Mr Smallman said: “We are delighted to have received positive feedback from leaseholders after dealing with matters which had been outstanding.”
MetroPM operates nationally and is responsible for the management of apartment developments across England.
